|
Q: Is my moving deposit
refundable?
|
|
A: Dr. Move understands that things can come up
that you have no control over.
Dr. Move allows you to change your moving
date as many times as you need without any penalties or
fees. However, if you cancel your move your moving deposit is not
refundable.
You can change your moving date as many times as
necessary, however if you reserve a moving time slot, pay
your moving deposit, and then you cancel your move, you
will lose your moving deposit. Why? Dr. Move works on
an hourly basis,
so if you reserve a moving date and
time, Dr. Move can not provide our services to other new customer
on that same date and time. If you cancel your move,
this will cause Dr. Move to lose future customers that wanted to book
our services on the same day and time you reserved your
move. So please make sure you want to book a move with Dr. Move
before paying your moving deposit.
|
|

|
Q: If I am using one of the
hourly move plans, what happens after the two-hour minimum?
|
|
A: Dr. Move only charges you for the time we
work, and we round to the nearest minute. So if your move takes 2
hours and
10 minutes, you only have to pay for 2 hours and 10
minutes worth of work. Unlike other moving competitors that round to
the nearest hour, we round to the nearest minute. We save you money.
|
|
|
|
Q: When
will the movers show up on my moving date?
|
|
A: We try our very best to get to every
appointment within a 2-hour window during slow times, and a 4-hour
window during
peak moving times. If you want to move at 8:00 a.m., the
movers will arrive at your home between 8:00-10:00am.
However, we can not guarantee delivery times due to
unforeseeable events.
